Question

e-commerce payment provider?

I need to find an e-commerce payment provider in the UK that then pays me an ongoing percentage of all transactions made through the website of the client I refer to them (not one that stops after so much money accrued or certain time period) - I am using this as an offset for the costs of developing the website - so if the site does well - then effectively I do well - any ideas? Sorry nothing to do with factoring!!! So here's a bit more information - I am a web developer and my clients need a payment provider for their e-commerce websites - a number of payment providers - paypal etc.. give you a set fee for referring my clients to them under a reseller scheme, i.e. a kick back for giving them (paypal) the clients business - what I am looking for is a payment provider who gives an ongoing kick back to me for every transaction that is made - (so for instance I get a set percentage of every transaction fee the payment provider takes from my client, as long as the clients account with that payment provider is active) in other words with pay pal you might get £50.00 flat fee for a referral of a client - what i want is a percentage of the website fees - so I am looking for a payment. provider who runs this type of deal I have seen authorize.net do this under their reseller service but they don't seem to deal with UK customers and account any further help advice??

Not sure what you are really asking but sounds to me that you need to speak to a factoring company - Your own bank should be able to advise but not necessarily the right factoring company for you. All of the 'big banks' have one - so make a search and ask the questions - there is one out there for you somewhere! Just one thing, though, stop thinking if the web site does well, you do well! What you need to be able to show is that if the web site does well, they won't lose! In truth, factoring is no the best way and it would be better if you could put your own money up front - the factoring companies take a large percentage of your earnings!
