Question

ACN Telecommunication?

Good afternoon, last night I attended a meeting for a company that I have never heard about in my life. ACN. I spent pretty much all of today researching about this company, read the good and the bad about it. Now I'm not going to jump out and say that it is a scam, cause it is possible for one to make money out of it in the long run. And I did not look at ACN as a get rich fast type of deal. What I want to know are the following, 1- I have seen many of the reps refer to it as not a job, but a business. If it is a business that you get to choose whether it succeeds or not, then what happens to your so called business if ACN ever goes down? isn't the right term for it sales, since your in sales trying to get people to sign up? 2- They claim that the Video Phone is the new thing and will be popular sooner than you know it. I work for a company that has been offering VOIP and Video Phones for a long time now. But not that many in the client list has ever showed any interest in the Video Phone. 3- Is there a place where I can check ACN's rates locally or based on a state? I want to see if their prices are competitive enough in my neighborhood with other providers. 4- What are the other charges that will come after the $500, so far I've heard of a possible, $10 month fee $140 yearly renewal fee $22 month website fee 5- For example, how much does one get for inviting someone and have them pay the $500? is it better to go after new signups with the $500 or better to just go and look for customers that buy the service? also is it true that after signing up, you'll be encouraged to get a video phone and a cell phone yourself from the ACN? Problem is that I have not been able to find answers in the actual ACN websites. All the links were referred to the magazines that ACN was in or oh look Ronald Trump started endorsing this system. And the rest were other reps or people that work for ACN and just came back with vague answers. thanks for your time to answer the questions.

Hi Sean, I'm glad that you see that ACN is not a scam. It's not a scam at all. I've had my own home based business with ACN for over seven years. My husband and I both and it's the only source of income we have. It's an incredible business opportunity. To answer your questions: 1- It's not a job, it's a business in which you own and run out of your home. You do choose to succeed or not succeed in your business. The same with any type of business you venture in, rather you start your business by yourself from scratch, or if you do business within a business. All McDonald, Wendy's, Sears, gas stations (etc) owners all have businesses with a business. Not one of those owners own that industry except the person who started it. They all bought into the franchise. It's the exact same thing, but those types of businesses cost a lot more to run then what we are doing. Any business can crash. I hardly see this happening to ACN. They have been around for 15 years. Most businesses that fail, fail within their first 5 years. Every business is "selling" something. Merchandise (product), and/or services. That's what your doing, the same thing as any business owner does. I don't see ACN "going down" but you will if you don't follow the system that is designed for success. It's a simple system too. I've done it. 2) The video phone is an incredible item we have. Not the only item either that we have to offer. The "new" video phone is the Iris 3000. That is in fact a new item. Your misinterpreting the wording on what is said. The video phone itself is free. Our customers don't have to pay for the phone. 3) When you become an ACN representative, you will have access to every rate available in every country we are in from Land lines, to Internet, to digital and video phone systems, to Satellite T.V. to all cellular phone providers. If your not an I.R, then you need to contact one give them the area code and first three digits of the telephone number, let them know how much you pay now, and what's included in that, and they'll find a plan that matches or beats it. Or shoot me an email with that information and I'll tell you what's out there. 4) I have no clue what your talking about a $10 monthly fee. I've been here for over seven years and never been charged that. $499 (your a dollar over the actual amount) Is what it costs to start your business. There is a one time start up fee that covers all the employees you have at your fingertips and telephone, or you can walk in on. They take care of all your billing, accounts receivables, accounts payables, customer services, order entry, data entry, cross referencing (meaning when a new product or service comes out they let all your customer's know about it), workman's comp, insurance, licensing, payroll, Inventory, paperwork, etc. Things that cost a traditional business thousands of dollars each month. I don't think you've ever had your own business, you've always been an employee? When partnering up with a business, the company takes care of all that for you. I tell you, it relieves a huge amount of stress and head aches to have someone else take care of these things for you. Alls you have to focus on is acquiring customers for your business and the company takes care of the rest for a one time fee of $499. This is very cheap compared to what a traditional business has to pay out each month to have all this done. From experience with a traditional business, this is like having an Angel on your shoulders! Doing business the traditional way, you spend thousands each month on just this alone! $499 is a drop in the bucket per say. If you choose to have a web site (which I highly recommend you do, but it's not a requirement. What business owner doesn't have a web site that sales products and or services? That's a business necessity. Again it's not mandatory. It's your own business so you choose rather you want a web site or not. But for the price you get and what it all includes (not just a web site either) it's a deal and a half. Ask any business person who has their own web site that they had to have someone design for them what it costs. It's a pretty good deal. Especially when they do all the upgrading and you don't worry about it. Every year within thirty days before or after your anniversary date, you need to renew your license and these service fee. You don't have to go anywhere to have this done. You can do it all by paperwork or by the computer instead of having to go into your local licensing department which is usually at the court house 5) This isn't a head hunting game. Your business relies on customers. The more customers you have the more money you make. You can choose to recruit people, or not. It's your business, so that is up to you. It's harder to expand your company into other countries if you don't know anyone. but you know someone who knows someone who does. Also, if you acquire a couple business partners who help acquire customers, that just means more money in your pocket and less work. Again, you don't have to, you can just acquire your customers on your own. You'll need to work a little harder though. You can recruit a thousand people, but if they don't bring customers to the table, you won't make any money. Like I said, it's not a head hunting game, you don't take money from them or out of their pockets or have to give customers away like in a lot of other companies. There's a bonus plan in play for new reps that come into the business. They get the bonus too if they acquire 5 services in their first 30 days of business. Which isn't difficult to do. most people that I know do it within their first night. 5 services, when four most likely is already in your own home. They can be five our of any of the services in which we provide. Which we have seven in which most people all have 4 to 5 a piece. Most families have 2 to 4 cell phones. that is actually 1 to 2 services on each phone. That is one reason why many people get their own services on the plan. Save them money and make money. Depending on what position you hold in the company, would be the factor of what bonus plan you qualify for. This has nothing to do with the other ways you make money in this business. This bonus is simply for customer acquisitions. All my services are through ACN, because it's my business. Once I switched over I cut all my bills in half. Most people have four services right out of their home. What is wrong with that? It's not mandatory, but say you owned a Chevy dealership, would you drive around in a Toyota? Why not drive around with a car in which your company distributes and you get a break in price? That just doesn't make since to me. Your not looking at this as a business you own, your looking at it as an employee. Your already setting yourself up to fail. Yes Donald Trump (not Ronald Trump) has indeed indorsed this company, uses the products and is highly involved with the company. He doesn't "just" indorse it. He does a lot of the training's for representatives. I had the pleasure of meeting him. An extraordinary individual. You didn't ask about this, but your narrowing the products and services that is on hand. I already see a few major mistakes your making, if you were to walk into this business venture. A teach my representatives first thing is their target market. What those individuals need and what you can do for them. Say you know someone is paying $120 a month for their local and long distance telephone services, we can offer them the same plan that they have for $69. Go for that. Save them money. You know someone who's cellular phone service in T-Mobile per say is up for an upgrade, upgrade their services (that's a customer for them). Your focusing on two areas in this business and forgetting the rest. Not looking at the big picture of everything and all possibilities, what you can do with it. A major mistake your making here. I think I'm out of room here, so I'm more than happy to go through everything with you, and help you out if you'd like. All you have to do is e-mail me and I'd be more then happy to go into specific details.

Hi, I am in canada, and after a few weeks doing some research about the company, finally I decided to go forward, but because my goals are very specific, I am going to use ACN and their system a as a complement to what I am building, and that is a Multi services enterprise, and in your case, if you are thinking about ACN as a great Business, by itself, is not, in order to be successful you need to diversify, their system is designed to enroll more and more people (recruiting), because their main Business is the franchising, and second is the sale of their products, and the products are real and are good, the wireless service and the directv are the best option, but if you dislike recruiting, you are going to fail, check this link, is a very neutral video about ACN, www ...

I for one wouldn't join ACN for the simple reason that they are a mere re seller of cell phone plans and their compensation plan is very weak as well. With regards to your question about if it would be more profitable to recruit rather than selling phones the answer is simple. Recruiting is the best way to make money with this business. It's what network marketing is all about. Think of it as a sales army working for you day and night. So if recruiting new reps isn't for you then I wouldn't recommend you join any network marketing company for that matter. I have joined a network marketing company called mywirelessrep that isn't a reseller of cell phones. We are actually our own cell phone company nacked by verizon and our comp plan is very strong. But again the best way to make money is to recruit reps under you and earn residual income on all the sales they make which if you do it right can set u up for life for work you do today.

All the multilevel marketers say "It is not a job, it is a career" as if that meant something. Go ahead and try it. The most you can lose is a little money. I can't find anything about ACN so it is a gamble..
