wireless Internet access
How much would it cost to open a small Internet access cafe in a rented space?
Question
What do I need to do so that customers at my restaurant will be able to access the internet?
I want to advertise that we offer wireless internet access for our customers. How do I set this up? What security measures do I take? I'm not very computer savvy, so thanks for the help.

I have internet access in my cafe - you definately dont want an open network.... i am in downtown providence and believe it or not i see people with laptops outside my place - I dont care if they use my signal, but i care if they abuse it by sending millions of spam emails with my ip address. So I went with a system that generates a new password for each user, capable of 50 users on the network at a time. When someone wants to go online simply type in the number of minutes you want that person to use your network. if you have a small place and they order a coffee give them an hour to make room for more patrons, if you have a big place give them 12 hours - it works with all times up to 23 hours. I found this system by googling wifi networks. there is no extra monthly fees the price was around $700 for everything - well worth it
