I've received similar emails from other companies and it turned out to be some sort of Spam. Call Ashley's Furniture's Corporate office and ask them....they'll know for sure. Ask for the Human Resources or Hiring Dept.

This is absolutely a scam. I am an Ashley dealer and we were alerted to these fraudulent emails some time ago. They don't need anyone to collect for them; they do it themselves. All payments go to the home office in Wisconsin. If they did outsource this, they (like many other business to business sellers) would use an established "factor" which would charge 3% fee to collect. Not a stranger at 10%.
