Can I call myself a corporation?

Hi, I just wanted to know about the legalities of calling myself a corporation without filing any incorporation papers. Just wanted to know if its legal and if I can get prosecuted for it later. I live in the UK. Thanks in advance!

In theory, you can call yourself anything you like as long as there is no intent to defraud. However, calling yourself a Corporation when you are not can only mean that you want to give a false impression to someone or some concern.
