Suppliers for say, computer parts? processors, graphics cards, and power supplies

You really need to research which companies out there can meet your needs. Then narrow down your choices by selecting only those within your price range. After that you will want to obtain quotes from each of them and let tem know you're new to the game and shopping around. You'll get a better deal if you acctually use their main competitors name in the conversation but never tell them the price they gave you. Don't forge to consider shipping in you purchase. Some suppliers may have great prices but when you get to the end you find out that it takes two weeks to get there and the sipping costs are more than the actual product.
