Is there any business activity today that does not involve IT?
Information technology (IT) is transforming every aspect of business life. I am wondering if there is any business activity today which does not involve IT.

I don't think there is. If you look at what IT is used for - communications, email, telephone, fax, letters, reports, services. Things that used to be done on paper are now done with IT. Even libraries have massive uses of IT for things like organising books or using RFID technology to enable easier rentals/returns. Im confident that even a company that claims not to use IT will do somewhere down the line - for instance a HR role or tech support!

There a few businesses that have minimal exposure to IT issues. You can make your business as IT-intensive as you want. Imagine a wedding chapel in Las Vegas. Do they have many IT issues? Can they have more or less depending on how they want to deal with it? I know there are still some small businesses that run their accounting system out of a box of documents.
