I need money and you've got lots of it! Just kidding. See if you can investigate the mission statement of the bank. It should be available on their website, provided they have one. Read it over and remember a few things they say in it. When they ask you why you want to work there, you can say, "aside from the money-making aspect, I like what you say in your mission statement - x,y,z - I agree with that philosphy and want to work in an environment that has similar values to my own." They should be thoroughly impressed. For example, Wachovia claims to have their own set of environmental principles by which the company runs. So you could say that you appreciate a company that takes care of the environment, especially by - x,y,z, (pick a few things out of the article specifically)". Good luck!

Maybe that you're possibly interested in banking or accounting for the future and that this might be a lot of experience you can get right now?

I desire to be an integral participant in a dynamic team with goal oriented missions. Your mission statement (insert exerpt) indicates high standards of quality and I'm anxious to bring a fresh perspective to the table in order to further travel the road to greatness.
