Yes, and in fact I just had to reduce my exemptions from 12 to 4! It was painful....

Yes. Working for the government is a job like any other. You earn income, you pay tax on that income.

Yes, people who work for/are paid by the Federal government still pay Federal income taxes just like everyone else.

Yes, federal employees currently pay all the same taxes as everyone else. When social security first started, the didn't pay into social security, however.
