Any good ideas on a name for an interior design firm.?
I prefer to spec only for new construction but will help others. I am an awesome colorist. It's my gift. My background is art so I see everything as a finished canvas. I like what someone else said about using numbers in the name. I live in Austin, the TX hill country and prefer classic contemporary designs to all other types. I came up with a name using part of my initials as clic decor but then decided that sounded hokey. My market is more high end home builders ($2-3M) than individual home owners. However I do some considerable color consulting for home owners. My birthday is April 2nd.

I would incorporate the word Green into the company name. My express suggestion: "Green leaf Interior Solutions, Inc." My reasoning: the Austin area, as I understand it, is a more liberal part of your great state. Green leaf is a name from which the reader could infer an environmental sensitivity and a notion of "fresh ideas." The name just works for me. You can treat it as a child might; it is whatever you want it to be. Greenleaf, good person, is the name that intersects between business, culture and your art. Good luck. P.S. If you skip this name you will be making a big mistake!!!!

How about Inner Space Rainbeaux Designs Avril Interiors Bday is April 2, makes you are Aries? how about something along those lines - Aries Design or Coloraries sorry, but I think clic decor is pretty good, actually
