Which is better job?
I work for this company right now. This is the pro and con of it. Pros . 1. Free lunch provided 2. Free dinner provided 3. Own key with key to fitness room, and even the office building Con : 1. coworkers looking over my shoulder 2. doing telemarketing calls 3. Get paid $1200 a month plus comission 4. Worked here since march, only gotten 1 client 5. Im not a salesman but a network admin that got the wrong job. Now a friend of mine called me saying they fired someone at metro pcs because he was stealing money. He wants me to work there because its only him and the manager. Here is the pro and con of each : Pro : 1. We can carpool together. Me and him live in the same townhouse 2. Get paid $1600 a month 3. Work with telecommunications or electronics which I like besides computer 4. I get paid cash every weekend so I can put in bank easier. Cons: 1. 10 am to 8pm 2. 30 minute drive through atlanta when its 10 minutes in other job 3. Work in the bad parts

I think it's important to do something you truly enjoy. If you have more of a passion for telecommunications/electronics than what you're doing now, plus the salary is higher, that seems like the better bet to me. The free meals are pretty sweet, but it's important to be happy with the work itself.

I believe the best thing to do is for you to re read what you have written and make up your own mind. Also remember this one must be happy in ones job. Whatever you decide upon do it the best you know how and IGNORE those silly inane actions around you. Keep your nose to the grindstone smile a lot ignore all the surpurfolous (junk) talk come in early and stay late, and YOU will be the one noticed above all others and when there is a promotion to be made YOU will be the first noticed. Be friendly with those around you but DO NOT ENCOURAGE THEIR GOSSIP ETC. Also If you go for the job where you carpool don't jeopardize yourself with him. GOD BLESS

I would take the second job, it is something to put on your resume that will give you experience for that dream job you want in Network Administration. The free meals and fitness room are great perks but they do not provide you the opportunities of working in your field. From personal experience, I worked in the worst part of Orlando for about a year and did not have a single problem even though I stuck out like a sore thumb. If you hear gun shots, duck :o)
