How do I avoid copyright infringement with manufactured goods?
People want costumes that look like recognizable characters, such as Mickey Mouse. How can I avoid copyright infringement wen I make these costumes?

You cannot do this without licensing contract from Disney. Don't do it. Get a copyright lawyer or else you can get sued.
