Mini consultancy service?
see if you can help me out: My mate is starting a small cleaning company * provide cleaning services at family houses in Lond0n I was told to come along and give some advice to him on how better to run the business the marketing and administration part of it. At the moment his staff works at 20 houses. What sort of advice could I give to him in order to his business grow, what sort of strategies we could use? how could we get more houses and reduce cost ? I have a few things in mind but I thought I still ask you guys here thanks in advance

Suggest he contacts Business Link for London for a free business review. It lasts 2 hours and looks at where you've come from and where you want to go and how you're going to do it. We did it for one of our companies earlier this year and the outside perspective helped enormously. They also give you links to useful information in their report afterwards, as well as ongoing support. Your friend needs to calculate his business's current capacity, what he wants to achieve and what is needed to achieve that level of business. Good marketing is key to increasing your customer base. How easy was it to find the existing customers and how did he find them? Are those the kinds of customers he wants more of? Good luck!

I am a business owner. If you want to grow take care of your present clients really good such as works according to their satisfaction. Answer their call ASAP. Don't give runaround if they have any concern. Give gift cards for each referral. Personally go house to house in your area and talk to them. You will see the result in no time. When I started my business I got only four clients. Now I got around 700! Good luck.
