Question

Mary kay business venture?

Hi everyone, I am debating whether or not I should become a Mary Kay consultant. I am eager, motivated, and hopeful that this new business venture will be rewarding in many different ways. I am curious to learn about some of the rewards, is it worth it? Is now the right time with our economy suffering as much as it is? Please any feedback or personal experiences with or about Mary Kay please help me. What are some realistic expectations I should have about joining this company? I just need a push. Thank you everyone!

1. Do you love the product? Not like, love. If you love the product, it'll go a long way to helping you sell it. 2. Do you fully understand the compensation plan? Don't get caught with any suprises. 3. Do you know enough about the product to acturately convey the value? Since people can go to Walmart and buy similar products for significantly less, you must be able to convey the value of pay 30-40% more. 4. Do you have the space to store all of the products that you are going to have to purchase to maintain the business?

Yes I wonder for a year and all I did was waste time so I say ask your self is the $100 investment worth it for you to try and see are you looking to talk yourself in or out of it???? So do you use the product if you love the product then you can't lose. Women tend to make emotional decision and can be persuaded by negativity or enthusiasm you will get a copy of Mary Kay's autobiography in your starter kit and once you read it you will understand why I say this business has changed my life and given me so much more then I ever imagined it is much more then selling make up. Mary Kay started her business with her life savings of $5000 and her instincts every one else said it will never make it that was 45 years ago :)

If you're looking for a fun business, you can't go wrong with home party types like Mary Kay. I started working with Norwex Enviro Products 3 years ago, and it's turned out to be both personally and financially rewarding. I guess we're about the fastest growing home party company in North America. These are unique cleaning products that make cleaning easier, faster healthier and environmentally friendly. I'm married, and was able to replace my husband's income within 6 months. These are products that are in high demand, and the company is still very ground floor. It's nine years old in Canada, and has been in the US since 1998. Sales commissions are 35%, and there are bonus commissions for recruiting/team building. If you're open to businesses other than Mary Kay, visit me on the web at www ... In addition to company supports, I also offer immediate online training and support.

I'm a stay at home mom with a website/travel hobby that earns money. It was a very slow process at first but now a steady stream of income. The company helps with marketing, design, monetizing, and so much more there is a small fee nothing worth while is free. But the fee is prorated and refunded if you don't like it . Good luck Visit my website and look at the "about us" page www.cheap-fun-family-travel You will see this is not a scam I did Avon for a while after you do your friends and neighbors it's hard. people just don't have the income to use for things anymore

Direct sales are an excellent way to make a living. I am a consultant with Pure Romance and have been for 5 years. I love Mary Kay and use their lotion and mascara. If you love the product and believe in it you will do well. What steered me towards Pure Romance is the product is not available at department stores. If your interested in the rewards I would check out their pamphlet. Some things to consider when looking at an in home party plan is... Do they offer health insurance Are they reputable What does the commission start out at, and how high does it go Is there a monthly minimum purchase required Hopefully this helps with your decision. If you would like more information about Pure Romance please contact me at ruthingle@pureromance.com or 513-895-5002 Sincerely, Ruthie Ingle National Director President's Club

OH goodness nothing worse then a bunch of people trying to suck you into their pyramid scams. Sheesh. I you like lying, deceiving, and paying out for every little "free training" night, join Mary Kay. If you want to get talked into "buying a full store of MK products" and spend over $3600 + tax doing so, join Mary Kay. If you like 100 emails a day (almost literally), and constant begging to place a wholesale order, having to place a minimum $200 order every three month, join Mary Kay. If you like your credit and want to keep it intact, and if you are an overall nice person, don't do Mary Kay. If you like your friendships and relationships, don't do Mary Kay. Go read www.pinktruth.com. Trust me, you'll thank yourself you did.
