get a solicitor to draft a privacy statement of some kind that you get signed by anyone you speak to before you divulge any details or specifics. in short speak to a solicitor before you tell anyone or go any further

Depending on where you are located a simple confidentiality agreement will do in most cases. Good fortune with your new venture!
