Question
Unemployment Tax?
I had two jobs, one in the Army Guard and one for good reputable company in NJ. My contract for the Army was over so I resigned from my work and moved to CA to try something new. In CA, I got a job for sports data company but laid out all employees because they couldn't get more funding from the bank. I been out of the job for couple of months. How do I file for unemployment act so I can at least survive until I get a job? and what is the process, who to call. please help thanks. PS: I am back in NJ.

It depends how long you worked in CA. If its close to a year file in CA. if not the file in NJ. It doesn't matter where you are living but does matter where you earned money.
