Sheila Williams, a medical secretary, earns $2575 monthly for a 35-hour week. For overtime work, she receives extra pay at the regular hourly rate up to 40 hours and time and one-half beyond 40 hours in any week. During one semimonthly pay period, Williams worked 10 hours overtime. Only 2 hours of this overtime were beyond 40 hours in any one week. Compute: regular semimonthly earnings, overtime earnings, and total earnings.

The regular semimonthly hours earnings are $1287.50 The overtime earnings are $202.32 The total earnings are $1489.82 If you want to know the withholdings let me know the state. If you want to know the payroll tax due let me know and I will compute it for you.
