Do I need an IT Tech or a IS Tech? I need help setting up my office with the right technology for business.?

I am starting up a Small Business online, someone told me the best thing to do is to use a web-based Server (example of a web-based server is ChannelAdvisor.com ) to store all my information, customer information, products, vendor's, etc. I need a server, I know there are professional people out there who can help me set up all the Technology at my Office. Does anybody know who offer's these services? Anybody know of what type of Server's I should be looking for? Do I really need a Server to run my small business? Which website could I check out to find out all the information I will need about Server's and what services are out there for me to us? Any information would be highly appreciated.
