PROFIT and LOSS STATEMENT?
hi, i am looking for an example of a profit and loss statement. Or simply find out exactly what needs to be included. I have to write a simple one , for my pet therapy program. I'm told it can be very simple...and then i'll have it notorized. We are talking about a very low income situation, but most of what i'm finding online, is to download these complicated forms with a whole bunch of into that just doesnt pertain to me. Any advice? I'm hoping to find just a sample maybe of a small business i guess. thanks "micki" read the questions before you answer. As i said, i have searched. THANK YOU RANGER, perfect answer!

make up a two column list on the left - write down all the expenses incurred by the business rent, electric, your salary, treats for the animals then total it at bottom of the column on right write down all the income - walking dogs, petting cats, feeding birds etc.... and how much each earned - total the amount at the bottom if expenses are less than income - you made money and you show it as a profit at the bottom - $124.00 if expenses are more than income - you lost money - you show it at the bottom by brackting the number ($215.00) kapish
