The portal you mentioned is a great portal this is dedicated mainly to research top coffeef ranchises so it is a good place to start. Visit other shops talk to the employees and owners and ask them about their relationship with the franchisor. Another way to check is to do a search to see if there is any negative comment by past franchisees. Find out from the franchisor if these issues were resolved. Coffee is a difficult business. I was able to pay myself a small salary for two years and cashed nicely wen I sold my shop. I wish you the best of luck. Also try SCORE they are an organization they gave me some good advice when I opened my shop.Their advice is free as a bonus. They said one of the most important decisions is location. I do believe that is true.
