If you have been through the patent process you already know how challenging and expensive it is. There are some excellent brokers I would be happy to refer you to if you email me nononorman1@yahoo.com I also have a few friends that have been exactly down the same path and at least three of them are doing very well....the fourth one is very interesting because I think he has the best ideas and is the most talented of all....he is a great guy but has been badly taken advantage of many times. The alternative might be to build your market niche, get some tenative sales and maybe arrange for some contract manufacturing. Get a little creative with how you might blend your patent with a business opportunity for yourself.
