Tips for selling ads in coupon book.?
Working with a client who sends a shared coupon book via direct mail. Looking for hints, tips, tricks etc on how to train the sales folks. Please spare me the lecture on "print is a dying media" etc. Valpak, Money Mailer and other folks can offer great advice on this.

I am in that same business. My product competes with, and consistently outperforms, Valpak and money mailer. I have had little success with hiring salespeople. Most give up after one day. It's easier to do the selling myself. But it's like selling any other product, really. See lots of people, build value, and be persistent. Give it time, as it takes a long time to build clientele, but once you do, they tend to stay with you a long time.
