Ebay has sent me thismessage, why are they taking £3.59 from my account?

Your invoice amount will automatically be deducted from your bank account on file within the next 5 to 7 days after the date of your invoice (amount taken may vary based on recent payments or credits). To view your invoice: 1. Go to www ... and click "My eBay" at the top of most eBay pages. You will need to sign in. 2. Click the "Seller Account" link (underneath "My Account" on the left of the page). 3. Click the "View invoices" link, then select the invoice you want to view from the drop-down menu. Thank you for using eBay.

It looks like the standard eBay invoice they send out when you are being charged fees usually involving selling or listing on their site. Before clicking ANY link hover over it and check to see if the actual url you are going to be taken too is the same as in the body of the e-mail. Scammers often make a link that looks legit but it will direct you to some place else.

I don't believe it's a scam. I've sold so many items that I had to pay $52 American. Most likely, it's the fees from selling things. If you haven't sold anything, then maybe it IS a scam. But, if you've sold items, then they're taking the fees. As you know they charge you listing an item. THey don't take the money right away. They do it monthly. After each month they take it out from either your paypal, or your bank... However you have it set up. Hope this helps.

you sound like you may have sold stuff on ebay. its not free, theres a charge for everything you sell. most likely its your listing invoice price

Lucky you: they just sent me one saying they're taking £420! Seriously, you've sold some things on eBay, right? Didn't you know you have to pay to list? And then pay again if the item sells? Check out eBay UK's fees at the link below. To see your invoice, sign into My eBay and look for the Seller Account link from the menu on the left (it's quite near the bottom). That will let you look at exactly what you owe in what kind of fees. Insertion fees are what you pay to list: final value fees are what you pay if the item sells.
