Question
Why in Today's Real Estate Market?
Would a new condo in a new age 55+ active adult community that is under development in my area, be trying to charge so much more than for equalvent condos in a 55+ community that was built a few years ago, that are on the re-sale market?

Perhaps they feel they have more amenities to offer, like nightly bingo at the clubhouse (just kidding), a spa or pool, sports court(s) or maybe the units are larger? Additional security or a gated community? I suspect the former answer from "Big J" to be more in line with reality though or they went over budget during construction.
