Consultant to help organize a small office located in Chicago.?

Hi- I was wondering if anyone knows of a company, either local or nationwide, that specializes in assisting in organizing an office? I'm not sure if there is such a thing but my company just moved into a new office and I need help as to where the best places to place filing cabinets and the best ways to file and stay organized. I work for a Private Equity firm that deals with a lot of files. Can anyone recommend a company that specializes in organizing? Thanks.

I'm not sure if a company exists to do those things for you however, I would recommend keeping your files organized the way you had them at the previous office. As far as a good place to put filling cabinets and things, trial and error or you could always create a diagram with the measurements of the room, equipment, estimated spaced needed for maneuvering around don't forget to take into account the space needed when drawers and things are open. If you have a lot of clients coming in and out aesthetics are important. Good Luck!
