Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
Why is everyone ok with being hired based on their credit checks?
Question
EEOC and Steve?
Ok when Steve was unjustly fired he wrote a three page detailed letter to the CEO of the company. This letter explained how the head of the branch harassed him, his coworkers and clients. He even followed up with the CEO's staff. Then Steve eventually sent the letter to the CEO's house and then filed the complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). And all of Steve’s ex-coworkers hate this branch manager. QUESTIONS: (1) Do you think the EEOC will speak to his ex-coworkers and will the CEO’s staff get involved.; (2) One of Steve’s ex-coworkers said the manager is trying to be nicer - is this because of the letter Steve sent to the CEO? Do you think the manager was put on report?

The company may be "investigating" the situation, so the manager may have been talked to about it. But as far as how in depth the "investigation" may be or what the outcome will be is unknown.
