I want a unsecured loan for £5000 over 5 years, i keep getting rejected, who will accept me?

Hi I am 18 living in a 1 bedroomed flat as a private tenant (alone may i add) After tax i make £550. Basically i want a unsecured loan to help ease the burden with bills etc but i keep getting turned down! I even tried lenders who say they help anyone regardless of the circumstances or bad credit history etc but even they turned me down! I mean i have to say my credit history is hardly going to be bad...i have never missed a direct debit payment. Why do they turn me down! :( Any help on good lenders who would accept me?
