Well, first of all Call center or contact center is a facility where offshore or domestic clients are catered for customer suport or tele sales etc. In international call centers, customers from various countries are attended for their queries or concerns regarding a particular product or service over the phone or through email. You will also find call centers where u call the customers abroad & try to sell a product or a service on phone. Now, Chennai has a lot of call centers international as well as domestic & Coimbatore also has a couple of domestic call centers. Don't know about Tirupur. There is no part time job available in call centers because most of the companies work 24/7 & 365 days. S ou can't get a job where u can work from home. If u are a graduate & have good communication skills (English) u can easily get into any good company, there are companies that recruit undergraduates also.

Call center is a location where calls are placed or received to handle the queries or the problems related to some particular product of some particular organization.in simple words making a call to call center one can have a clear idea and solution to the problem about the concerned topic. so it deals mainly with customer support. no qualifications are required for getting in to a call center. u just need to have good communication skills i mean u should have good English fluency. there are many call canters in the cities you have mentioned. we can work full time and also part time in call centers but very few companies give the opportunity work from home. its better to contact the placement consultancies who will be able to get you the work easily rather than going to the companies.

hai friend, well i m a 4m a diff country so it might have a bit diffs then the other answers that has been given but the concept is the same, well for say call cetre is a point whr saying a place that all info can be gained to say u might be working in a bank call centre but it ddoesnt mean u supposed to be in the bank u can be in a diff location in a bulding n work for the bank to provide info to the coustmers or users of the service, well its a intersting job cause u will be finding many new characters every single day but u also might get bored cause u will might be ending answering the same questions again n again everyday so just chill, n about the salary aint me have a idea but in malaysia they r paid around RM 2 k montly. hope this helped u.
