Why don't people use the check spelling button before posting?
I am wondering why people who are interested in making mony, starting a busness, opening a restrant or working for home would not take a moment to use the spell check button before posting a request for help? It just seems like common courtesy to make sure you are using proper spelling and grammar before asking for help.

People don't want to see how dumb they are at spelling I guess. Thats why I don;t use it. Actually most of the time I do.

Are you talking about on here using the spell check, cause you misspelt "restrant, mony, busness" wrong. Spell check? :)

Laziness. Yes, it is a great idea to use the spell check, but people are so busy-busy I don't think they care anymore. Sad, but true- I am guilty of it too and by the looks of it so are you!

laziness, i expect. and as you stated, lack of common courtesy. to me it shows lack of attention to detail. me, i don't like to worry about capitalization. but i hate poor spelling! it's distracting.

Some people use IM terms, which would get totally screwed up by spellcheck, and they pobably don't care. Others like me just fix our errors as we go along. Certainly, sometimes an error slips out, but I try to minimize that happening.

I don't always trust spell Czech because sometimes the answers don't make cents. Know buddy is perfect. One more thing.... money, not mony.

I love the answers from the people criticizing the spelling in the question. Guess not everyone understands sarcasm. My favorite answer so far is the one that says he "misspelt" a number of words in his question. Which dictionary (or spellchecker for that matter) contains the word misspelt. Thanks for the entertaining afternoon.
