Cost to Start Online Community Site?
Hi.I'm a brand manager for an automobile accessories company in India. We are planning to launch a community site related with automobile accessories and more. Can any one help me out how to approach. How much it will cost. I am in India now. If you are willing to work at it, you could do this for free (excluding the cost of working hours and possibly a domain name, but neither of those are essential). I do not have time to expand fully on this right now, but there are lots of good (free) web hosting packages around on the web. Unless you want to spend money on a website designer etc or would like to program the site from scatch, the next step would be to look at some form of a Content Management System (CMS) -- take a look around the search engines for one that you like. The majority of these are aimed at blogs (web-logs), but there are many different templates around so don't give up straight away. The rest is up to you ... remember, feel free to message me for further help / advice, but there are many helpful people around here =)

Online community = phpbb you need to get a domain and hosting to have a phpbb it doesnt cost a lot...
