Credit USA
six month ago my friend give me a number to better credit usa which she said she use him before?
Question
Is First Financial Bank USA a good place to get my first credit card?
About a week ago , I received in my mail a letter from this bank offering me , a full time student a chance to have credit points with their credit card. I don't know whether I should accept. It sounds pretty good though, since I don't have any credit points and am barely starting out right after high school. Does anyone know more about it and if it is worth it?

That is who I had my first credit card with when I was in high school. I kept it till when I finished college. I never had any problems with the company but changed cred cards when I started working for a bank. It was a good way to build my credit from a young age. I always paid in full every month. There are better credit cards to get once you have established credit, but this would be a good start. Just dont be tempted to over spend like most people.

When I was in college credit cards were handed to me like candy. I declined all of them. Why? Because my student loans were going to have to eventually get paid back and I didn't need an extra monthly payment on something else. Especially a high interest credit card. But it's up to you. If you insist on getting a credit card, get ONE. And one with a small credit limit - say $500.00. Then only charge an amount you can pay back in full at the end of the month so you don't get hammered with interest. Also if the card has ANY fees for ANY reason tell them to stick it. If you have an account at a local bank or credit union go there. You will get a better all around deal. In short, NO! Stay away from the predators that hang out at the Student Union Buildings and who are pushing credit cards on students. It will be your financial death and your credit will be shot before you even get started.
