Can I really make money of off eBay?
or is it more less a scam? It seems like you could never make money off of eBay when you consider all of the fee's you'll be paying. For Example: insertion fee (35cents), gallery(35cents), pictures(15cents), final value fee(5.25% of sale), shipping & handleing(if you choose to pay), Package supplies, insurance, other fee's i dont even know about. Not to mention what if your sale goes horribly wrong and someone gets it for like a dollar. Or what if something goes wrong during shipping.

Do you really think all those people who have businesses selling on eBay are not making money? They simply include the eBay costs into their product prices. As for low bids, most set reserve prices so that they do not lose money. And, in many cases, bid prices exceed the actual retail price of items. The buyer could buy the same item cheaper from other sources. If you are interested, there are many books on how to make money on eBay. The "Dummy" series of books comes to mind. Check on Amazon.com.

Yes you can it just depends what you sell and how much you sell it for like i sold my sidekick 2 for 120$ and 5$ shipping and handleing so its not a scam at all go for it good luck

Set up a store, and sell it through there if you are not in a hurry to get money. Only post on auction things that you want to move quickly.

It is very possible to make money selling on ebay! I have found that the best online selling business includes ebay, but also includes your own e-commerce site, or a store with another website. There are a lot of places that are cheaper than ebay, but ebay has a lot more traffic. Use ebay to get customers, and then send them to your own site or store elsewhere for repeat purchases. We have an online shopping mall site, and many of our sellers sell on ebay as well as at our site.
