Having trademark in domain name?

I am making a fan site for a game. Let's pretend the game is Warcraft. "WarcraftLegacy.com" for example. Is this a trademark violation if I am not selling anything on the site? It will be a fan site and non-commercial, but WILL have a few affiliate links and ads (AdSense, YPN, etc).. I will also have a disclaimer on the bottom saying trademarks are of the company and not me.

it sounds like a legal question and not a web question. buying "the" domain name causes an issues always. you can not buy warcraft.ca, warcraft.md, warcraft.fr if the name appears is part of the domain name i do not think there is an issue. i would look at Amsterdam.com. it is a porn web site and i do believe that Amsterdam city tried to get it back (in court) and was unable to. if the porn web site won in court i do not see any issues with a warcraft fan web site
