They certainly work for those who have a sufficiently good credit rating. You can get your own credit report from www.equifax.co.uk & others

a loan application worked for me before with Bank of Ireland. It's my own bank though so that probably made a difference. I don't know where you are though and whether you can apply to that bank.

Yeah, they work. You have to input information just as if you did it on paper. Be careful though entering your personal info. Know the company your applying with and make sure they are using a secure system.

When I had bad credit.....it always came back declined or referral.......now that i have fixed my credit by paying off my debt....i always have access to most all of the credit apps that i have applied for.....try orchard bank.....i recently got a credit card through them online.......i never had to call them....and it came back online saying i was approved...i guess it all depends on your credit and which company you are applying at....

Here is some things you need to know! When you apply online if your answers do not fit the answers that the computer is looking for then - out you go!!! If you apply on paper then you force the company to look at you as an individual allowing them to phone you for maybe grey areas that they see as the computer would have bounced you out. If you have good credit the online application will send you through no problem. If you have grey area or adverse then paper application is the best - you stand a better chance of being passed.

Surefire finance have an apply online facility which I used they kept in contact via email every step of the way so yes in surefire finance's case they do work!!!
