Question
Bad credit auto loans?
Recently my husband and I decided to trade in our car and buy new one. With the what we're losing on the trade in, we need to borrow around $42,000. The problem is we have the income for it but bad credit. Does anyone know of a bank that might take the income into consideration more than the credit? We're in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

My husband and I just bought a used car , my husband has really bad credit and i have fair. We were accepted for a loan through americredit. We live in NYC-staten island, so they might cover PA. Car dealerships thrive on sales no matter what it takes. YOu could get a loan , but the interest rate might be higher maybe 12-18%

there is none. lenders loan money based on how you pay your bills, not how much you make. in their eyes, if you make all the money you should have paid your bills.

Try Wells Fargo. They are my largest lender and they do take into account how much you make. You might also try Capital-One and H.S.B.C.

Sounds like you need to save money and then use a larger down payment. Your not ready to purchase a car yet, without getting screwed on the finance charges. Be Different, save first, then buy.

Jesus people. If you have bad credit and are LOSING on the trade in, do you really think you should be buying a flippin 40k car??? If you have the income, pay your bills on time for a year and show you are worthy of a 40k loan! Sorry, I am usually for the consumer vs. credit but not this time.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution. I will hereby talk from my personal experience. I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details, if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first, a good place to start in my humble opinion is a straight to the point ebook with question and answer I found : umgarticles ... if it helps kindly remember me in your voting!.. cheers!

You CAN get a decent car loan, even with bad or no credit. I've done it, but you'll have to look around. Shop around for lenders who specialize in bad credit car loans. There are usually some nationally based car loan companies who specialize in bad and no credit car loans who advertise on the page linked below... www ...
