Salute (and the other cards you listed) is one the worst cards you can get. This is basically a high fee/low limit credit card that preys on people with no credit or bad credit. I would avoid them if at all possible. If you are wanting to build/rebuild credit, go with Orchard Bank. They have a low interest rate (14.90, good for a sub prime card), low annual fee, none of the high fees and if you manage your account properly, they give excellent credit limit increases. You can get more info on Orchard Bank at www ...

Hi! This is not a question..but I'll answer it anyway. All in all..it's not a bad card for someone who is getting on their feet. You are very wrong about the monthly fee..it is $6/month. I can afford one of these..as it will help me build my score and give me some wiggle room available credit wise.

I see a lot of people recommending orchard bank, but they do not give credit as easily any more. The two cards that helped me rebuild credit were Continental Finance and First Premier. The fees are alot and customer service is bad, but when you need to rebuild credit, it works and they give automatic increases every 5-6 months and report to the majors. Only charge about $50 per month and pay it back.
