Advice on defaulted student loan(s)?
How do I go about clearing up a default on a student loan? More importantly, this loan was taken out a long time ago and I really can't remember who the lender is that holds the note... how would I find out this information also?

To get information on the creditor - get a copy of your credit report. The contact info should be on there. Call them and set up payment arrangements. Believe me, if you don't find them - they'll find you and then they'll garnish your wages. You're much better off if you go to them and set up payments.
