Question
can u go to jail for not paying on a payday loan? Or does it go towards ur credit?
I dont have the money in my bank account to pay anymore. I dont want to do this, but i would rather have the money to pay food and stuff than just go to a loan.

you do not go to jail for unpaid deby unless they can prove fraud. dont matter what state your in. what they will do is file suit get a judgement tack on interest and screw up the rest of your life.

I actually depends on the state that you're in and how far the company is willing to take it. If I were you, I would contact the company and see if you could make some sort of payment arrangement. You may even consider calling to inquire on their process before announcing who you are. Good Luck!

Depends on what state you live in.

Most payday loans companies require you to give them a check to repay your debt. After whatever time you both agreed on has passed, they deposit the check. If this is what you have done? And your check bounces, they can file charges against you for acquiring money by fraud. This not only goes on your credit after they get a judgement since it's a matter of public record, but it will result in criminal charges being brought against you.
