Question

Any subprime lenders who only use equifax for personal loans?

My credit scores range between 450 and 460. I need a small loan asap for car and domestic home emergencies in the amount of about $2000-$3000. I make over $4000 a month and can pay this back, but I need a lender willing to help. My equifax is the most satisfactory report. Although the credit score is low and my cards are maxed out....all but one creditor shows all payments as current and paid on time. Please help I'm desperate and with no family members to count on and no co-signer, I'm stuck....I have been working on getting my credit score high enough for a traditional loan and I have managed to get my score up over 100 points in the last year. I have maintained all my new credit sucessfully, but my score is still not high enough, and my need at this moment in life are immediate and urgent. Please help this single mom. Thanks

I am not really sure who would be able to loan you any money with your credit score. Are you on good terms with your Job. Perhaps your employeer can loan you the money in something like an advance on your salary. Do you have Vacation time? If so will they cash out some of it for you? Do you have a few friends who will loan you some money. You don't need 1 to loan the entire thing, but if you get two or three to loan you a few hundred that would get you what you need. Most reputable places will want at least the Mid 500's to even start to consider loans. Anyone who loans at your level will have super high interest rates and fees. If you do find someone be sure to read ALL of the terms before you sign anything. Make sure you understand any Fees they will charge as well as the interest rates. You don't want to borrow money from someone who is going to take advantage of you, and at this level there will be a lot who will try. Also, do not fall for anyone who says they can get you a loan if you put a small "Processing" fee up front. Anytime they ask for a fee up front(other than for a credit check) they are a fraud and you won't see that money. Good Luck.

Lenders look at different bureaus depending on your Zip code. Here in Oklahoma, H.S.B.C and Citifinancial both look at Equifax.
