Which dpeartment stores approve bad credit?

Question

I have bad credit. I was told to get a department store credit card (supposedly easy to obtain) to help improve my credit (charge only what I can pay off). My question is which ones approve bad credit? I don't want to apply to places that won't approve me and only drag my score down more by inquiring about my credit report.

Rather than take a risk with a store credit card, why not try a credit card that is designed for BAD CREDIT? Many credit card issuers have programs designed specifically for people in your situation. While they tend to have higher interest rates (and some additional fees) when compared to standard credit cards, they'll give you the chance to prove your creditworthiness and improve your credit score.
