The best card is the one that gives you the most services you desire. That could be different, depending on your needs, industry, vendors and credit-worthiness. If you will be making many transactions, it will be helpful to have a card that provides detailed on-line monitoring and electronic file formatting of your transaction records. Depending on your accounting system, there may be a preferred data format. If you will be spending a lot of money, it will be important to get a cash-back or airline miles card. Cash back cards (available from all major card companies) pay 1% back. Most airlines cards charge an annual fee, but not all. If you will be needing a card that will be used by other employees, you will want a card that potentially provides multiple layers of authentication, or enables you to restrict the card to certain vendors, or to a certain pre-set spending limit. As someone else mentioned, AmEx isn't accepted everywhere. This is because they charge the merchants 3%, as opposed to the average rate of 1.5%-2% charged by Visa, MasterCard and Discover. If you want to be nice to your vendors and save them some money on the transaction costs, DON'T GET AN AMEX CARD. Try Chase, Citibank, BofA, etc.

There are no "best business credit cards". It really depends on what you are looking for. Here are some things to consider. 1. do you have employees ? (looking for cards which charge no annual fee for employee cards). 2. If you have employees, would you like to set their individual limits? 3. Are you looking to earn rewards? Cash, reward points. Once you know what you want, the search becomes easier.

I'm a big fan of a small business credit cards from Chase and another one from Advanta, but that's just because they pay large cash back percentages (5% and 3%) in a few of the categories I spend money (e.g. restaurants, office supplies, gas, telecommunications, etc.). Assuming you'll pay off your balance in full each month (the only good way to use credit cards), I'd recommend you get the card that will pay you the most rewards for your small businesses spending. The best way I know to find the card that will pay you the most rewards is the rewards calculator at www ... .
