Question
Business Credit Card Question - Applying and terms?
Hello, thank you for checking out my question. I just incorporated my new company about a few weeks ago. I've looked into American Express to obtain a Business Credit card, and i've heard its more reasonable to obtain a business card at least, since the company is a corporation with no outstanding debt. My personal credit is good, i have a 730 credit score, with only a few inquires, but the last one was around 10/5/06. These inquires are mostly around me opening up my first credit card ( visa - bank of america ), and my checking and savings accounts. I have paid all my bills in full and on time. I am just wanting to know, is there a strong possiblity of obtain the business credit card? What sort of things does American Express look at when applying for a card, espeacially for business:? Thank you! - Ryan

American Express may vary the %APR, interest rates and other charges from time to time. The minimum monthly payment will be 3% of the outstanding balance or £5, whichever is greater. Of course, you may pay off your balance in full at any time. You will have access to credit of at least £1,000. We may offer you the opportunity to request Balance Transfer(s) from time to time -they will charge interest on all balances that result from Balance Transfer(s) at the standard rate of 12.9% per month, 1.02% per annum on a daily basis until the amount is fully repaid to us. For example we reserve the right to refuse any Balance Transfer requests including Balance Transfers from overdue accounts, exceeded Credit Limits, overdrafts, loans, HP agreements or any Amex accounts. We are not liable for any overdue payments or interest incurred. Payments to card companies will normally be made within 30 days from receipt of your statements and we will advise you when payment is made. We may charge a handling fee in relation to Balance Transfers. Any such handling fee will be 2% of the Balance Transferred. The Nectar Credit Card for American Express and the Nectar for Business Credit Card from American Express standard rate of interest for goods and services is typical 12.9%APR variable (1.02% per month). There is a great chance you can get the card; they would look at how long you have been in business and possibly a bank reference.
