Where can I get more information on USDA rural development loans? The government site isn't very detailed.

I've searched all over and read the government site up and down. There are still questions unanswered. I'd like to find other peoples' experiences with this type of loan. A Section 502 Direct Loan. Thanks.

I have one of those loans, and it was the answer to my prayers. That is if you are talking about the mortgage loans for individuals. They also do loans for rental housing. As a single mother, it was the only way I could afford to own my own home. It's complicated to get started but it's well worth the effort.
