Question

I am opening a vendor cart/kiosk, selling bath & body products.?

How much cash should I start out with in the cash drawer so I can make change? Average product cost is $20. I was thinking $100 - (3 rolls) quarters $30, 3 rolls dimes, nickles etc.... Do you think that is enough?

I use an opening bank for my Concession Stand of $250 at a min. Depending on the volume of the event. Busy events i start with $1000. $250 is $100 in 5's $100 in 1's and $50 in Q's. All of our merch. ends in .25 no need for nickles or dimes. It is really a hassle if the first customer of the day gives you a hundred dollar bill and then you are out of 5's right away. $1000= $500in 5's $400 in 1's and $100 in Q's.
