Life Insurance agency start up?
I'm starting a new business, a Life, Health and financial services company. Right now i'm the only sales person / owner of the company. i would like to hire a sales person but i'm not sure what the standard compansation package would be for a life rep (ie: salary,commissions,bonus) and what type of production should i be looking for.

Simply go to some insurance company and tell them you want your insurance. Try to build a working relationship with those people and keep asking questions you are interested in. In 3-4 sittings you will get atleast 60% knowledge of the company management etc.

go get a job with a life insurance company for 1 week. then copy their business model. you can also call any existing company and talk to their media department posing as a journalist. they will answer all your questions.
