hi , where can i find a business tax identification numbers for say the new york department of labor ?

i'm doing my taxes and they never sent me form 1099-g and or the w-2 . i need their FEIN .

The FEIN for government organizations is not public information. Therefore, you will need to prepare a substitute Form W-2 with as much information as you know. Meanwhile, you should make a request to NY Dept of Labor to get another W-2 form so that you can make an amendment if need be.
