I am an owner in the RCI points program. I like it. Yours is different it looks like in that you don't actually own a week somewhere, just points. The RCI points you own a week at an RCI points resort and then decide each year if you want to 'bank' it and get the points. If they don't give you a deed that has a week number and unit number then you don't really have a deed. Some of them just pool the group together. There is an obvious problem if they decide to give you the crappy unit or a new unit in a worse building in the future. Ask them and see what they say about it. Just remember they have a slick answer for everything. You should make sure that the annual fees are not too much, or more than you expect. They add up and when the bill comes you better be happy about it or you may decide to cancel it and lose everything you paid for. Looks like you can transfer to RCI points, you better make sure how many points you get is guaranteed, they may just give you fewer if they decide to as time goes by. Best thing to do when using time shares that have points is make sure you will be happy using the limited version of the program or don't do it. In this case that means staying at your bluegreen resort or any other bluegreen resorts if that doesnt actually cost more. Go take an RCI points tour somewhere if you are not sure and want another option.
