A starter web page is a bonus feature that you receive when you purchase a Domains, Custom Mailbox, or Business Mail plan from Yahoo! Small Business. The starter web page can replace the default "under construction" page that is displayed at your domain name and acts as a customizable placeholder until you decide to build a full web site or store at your domain.

A starter web page allows you to post a short content message about yourself or your business and choose from a set of standard page templates. You cannot edit these templates, add pages, or include your own graphics.

This feature allows messages that might be misaddressed or misspelled (e.g. bob@ instead of robert@your-domain.com) to be received rather than bounced. In fact, the catch-all feature will capture anything sent to your domain name. If you are a Business Mail customer, and have created multiple mailboxes, the catch-all feature will not affect the delivery of properly addressed email messages to those addresses. You can specify which one of your mailboxes should serve as the catch-all mailbox that receives all misaddressed mail (for Custom Mailbox, your single mailbox will be the catch-all mailbox). Note: You must turn on the Catch-all feature on for it to work.

Please realize that when you reply to a misaddressed message, your email address shown in the reply will be the address for the mailbox where it was delivered.

Yahoo! Small Business gives you the flexibility to change plans at any time to meet your evolving business needs. You can move between packages in a product line (such as moving from Web Hosting Starter to Web Hosting Standard), or change product lines completely (such as moving from Web Hosting to Merchant Solutions). Yahoo! Business Email's built-in Norton AntiVirus system automatically cleans infected email attachments to protect you from dangerous computer viruses. The system works with both the web interface and POP mail clients. For the web mail interface, automatic scanning and cleaning occurs every time an email-ingoing or outgoing-contains an attachment. For POP, only incoming mail is scanned and cleaned.
