DELL LAUNCHES ENTREPRENEUR SITE
Computer maker Dell Inc. has launched an online "Center for Entrepreneurs" to help small businesses and court their business at eir.dell.com. The site is a project of Dell's "entrepreneur in residence," Ingrid Vanderveldt, who founded the GLASS Forum for women leaders. The site highlights Dell's $100 million fund that helps entrepreneurs buy hardware and services from the company. It started taking applications for the fund in June. The site also links to the existing Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network, and to its Social Innovation Challenge, which provides start-up capital and mentors to university students.
