June 12. REP. SCHRADER SCHEDULE — The following events are listed on Rep. Kurt Schrader's public schedule.
—7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Congressman Schrader will be attending the City of Stayton and Marion County Commissioners Meeting to discuss local issues and meet with area officials.

—9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Congressman Schrader will taking a tour of Mastercraft Furniture's new manufacturing plant in Stayton. Mastercraft furniture manufactures upholstered furniture in the Pacific Northwest and recently relocated its Wilsonville facility to Stayton. The company plans to add up to 100 employees to its current workforce in the near future.

—10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Congressman Schrader will be visiting with small business owners in Stayton on a downtown walking tour. As a member of the House Committee on Small Business, and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Finance & Tax, Congressman Schrader is focused on increasing lending opportunities to small businesses.
—12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Congressman Schrader will be speaking at the Detroit Lakes Recreation Area Business Association luncheon about his work in Washington.

—1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Congressman Schrader will be touring the Idanha Post Office with Postmaster Teresa Madsen and will be discussing some of the issues facing the United States Postal Service and rural post offices. June 12. 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. U OF O-PRESIDENT CANDIDATE — The finalist candidate for the new president of the University of Oregon, Michael R. Gottfredson, was announced today by George Pernsteiner, chancellor of the Oregon University System. Dr. Gottfredson is currently executive vice chancellor and provost at the University of California, Irvine, and professor of criminology, law and society. He will meet with campus officials and community leaders, and hold a forum for students, faculty and staff during his visit to Eugene. A media availability opportunity for brief one-on-one interviews is scheduled.
